How to cast a Chrome browser tab or entire desktop to your TV from your calculator

This commodity shows you how to cast a Chrome browser tab, or the entire desktop, from your reckoner to a TV.
Most web content will be displayed, just some plugins, similar Silverlight, QuickTime, and VLC, will not work.

To show Chrome on your TV, yous'll need:

  • Sony's Android TV™/Google TV™
  • A reckoner and Wi-Fi network with the minimum system requirements
  • Your Television and reckoner must be connected to the aforementioned network. If you're using a Google Boob tube, you need to be logged in to your Google business relationship.
  • The latest version of the Chrome browser must be installed on the reckoner
    Annotation: For how to check the version, refer to the following:
    1. Clickthe More  icon on the upper correct corner of the Chrome browser.
    2. Click Help — About Google Chrome.

How to cast from a Google Chrome Browser tab

  1. Launch the Google Chrome browser.
  2. Click the More  icon on the upper right corner of the Chrome browser.
  3. Click Bandage....

    NOTES:

    • Once Cast... is clicked, the bandage icon appears adjacent to theMore than icon and a Bandage To window will appear.

    • When casting websites or apps similar Netflix service, YouTube™ videos, Stan, Presto, or Quickflix, tap the Cast icon on the app or the website.
  4. Select the Television set model.

    NOTE: The Google Cast icon located on the top correct corner of the Chrome browser volition appear in blue once information technology successfully continued to the TV.

  5. When you've finished, to the right of the address bar, click theCast  icon — Stop.

How to Cast and display your computer screen

You can display your unabridged figurer screen using the Chrome browser on a Mac, Windows or Chromebook computer. To hear sound on your TV, use a Windows computer.

  1. Launch the Google Chrome browser.
  2. Click the More icon on the upper right corner of the Chrome browser.
  3. Click Cast....

    • When casting web sites or apps like Netflix service, YouTube™ videos, Stan, Presto, or Quickflix, tap the Cast icon on the app or the web site.
  4. Select the TV model.

  5. Select Cast desktop.

  6. On Share your entire screen setting, click the screen image to share, tick share audio.

  7. Click Share.

How to bandage music and videos from your computer

  1. Launch the Google Chrome browser.
  2. Click the More icon on the upper right corner of the Chrome browser.
  3. Click Cast....

    • When casting websites or apps like Netflix service, YouTube™ videos, Stan, Presto, or Quickflix, tap the Cast icon on the app or the website.
  4. At the top, side by side to Bandage to, click the Down arrow.
  5. Nether Stream a video or audio file, click Bandage file.
  6. Select a file.
  7. Choose the Goggle box model where yous want the file to play.
